Royal Palms Resort and Spa

Last week was my wedding anniversary, so over the weekend I surprised my husband with a stay at The Royal Palms Resort and Spa right here in Arizona. It is such a beautiful and intimate resort and holds a special meaning to our family because of it's long history and the fact that some very special occasions have been celebrated there over the years!
The service and attention to detail that were payed over the weekend are something to definitely brag about! We received a very nice bottle of champagne along with a beautiful tray of berries and chocolates upon arrival. When we got to dinner at the famous T. Cooks restaurant our table was scattered with rose petals and candles and our menus even said "Happy Anniversary" on them. The food was divine and the service friendly and impeccable. For dessert they brought us a beautiful plate of chocolate truffles with Happy Anniversary written on the plate in chocolate. After dinner we went to the lounge and listened to some jazz while finishing our delicious bottle of malbec. Upon arrival back to our room there were rose petals in the shape of a heart on our bed ( cheesy yes) but such a nice touch! Sometimes it is just nice to take a small respite from the world and spend some one on one quality time with your love. If you ever have the chance I highly recommend The Royal Palms for any occasion!!
