For as long as I can remember chartreuse has been my favorite color even when some would have said it was "not in fashion". Because it is such a vivid and saturated color it must be paired with an equally rich color, earth tone or a soft white in order for it to be sophisticated and not kitch. Chartreuse mingles well into many styles of decor and when used properly can add just that right feeling of vibrancy. I am thrilled that Pantone named it one of 2012's fall colors. I hope you can take inspiration from the following rooms and add some chartreuse into your home as well as into your wardrobe.
