Entertaining is one of the last rituals left in our modern, hectic, technological, over-booked life that slows us down. It draws us together with family, friends, and strangers to celebrate two primal human needs: socialization and food. Although fashions in dining change, we still adhere to the belief that sharing food is good and right. And gathering with friends is one of life’s great pleasures. - Carolyn Roehm
